Šelest: Iglooghost + Awoo + others

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀.

Get ready for the fifth edition of Šelest, this time introducing various kinds of deconstructed club, unpredictable beats and unexpected melodies. On the 19th of May we’re coming back, this time to Underdogs’ with fresh noises from across Europe. Introducing legendary Iglooghost from London, Slovak DJ Wyme, the world premiere of awoo and their critically acclaimed album lost and BCAA’s artists Irako Sei and Noemi.

𝗜𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 is a London based DJ and producer. Drawing inspiration from video games and cartoons, his tracks are a blend of hip-hop, glitch, and electronic music, featuring rapid-fire beats and intricate sound design. Iglooghost’s colourful sound and fictional worlds he creates open up a new and astounding world for the listeners.

𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫 and 𝐁í𝐥𝐞𝐣 𝐤𝐥𝐮𝐤 have joined their forces to create awoo, an audiovisual project about identity and its possibilities in the virtual world. Cloud rap and hyper-real sound design meet gloomy grime synths, shredded vocals and genres from hyperpop to trap. First live performance of their new album and a world premiere!

Fragments of pop, reggaeton, baile-funk or fresh electronic sound. Slovak DJ 𝗪𝘆𝗺𝗲 mixes together the unexpected, creating a vibrant sound full of surprising moments. She’s a founder of the platform xeno- which encompasses various forms of club music and emphasizes feminism and the representation of women and LGBTQ+ people in the club environment.

𝗕𝗖𝗔𝗔 is a collective of artists who take club music to another level. Their carefully created audiovisual world consists of a label, virtual gallery, series of workshops and events and much more. Two of their members will bring the innovative approach of BCAA to Underdogs’s dancefloor:

𝗡𝗼𝗲𝗺𝗶 will open the nigh with somewhat atmospheric selection.
