The fourth edition of the Moody Moon Noize boutique festival will take place at the end of August in the North Bohemian town of Chomutov. After two editions in Mariánské Lázně and this year’s edition in Prachatice, the organisers of the travelling event have this time teamed up with the Chomutov-based Kuprospěchu association and together they will revive several remarkable city spaces – for example the Regional Museum including its cellars, St Ignatius Church, the City Park or the Baroque Jesuit College. Moody Moon Noize Vol. 4 will take place over three days, August 24-26, 2023, with a schedule to be announced during the spring of next year.

The idea for a limited-capacity boutique festival held at specific venues was conceived in the spring of 2020, at a time when it was clear that many traditional events would not be possible due to the coronavirus pandemic. During the first years, the festival clearly profiled itself by focusing its dramaturgy on the contemporary domestic and Slovak scene with an emphasis on premieres of new projects, unique spaces and a programme chosen according to the specific layout of each venue. Moreover, the itinerant nature of the festival does not allow the organisers – the team of Full Moon magazine and the friendly promoter platforms Heartnoize and Mood – to succumb to inertia and routine. Each year’s event is a new challenge for organisers and visitors alike. All organizing entities will participate in the musical dramaturgy, the accompanying program will be entirely directed by Kuprospěchu.
