Sharp humor and unconventional pop hits. The duo Getdown Services is heading to Prague.

A garage band with a laptop, pop with the weirdest choruses, and disco mixed with post-punk. The duo Getdown Services layers lyrics like endless streams of persistent thoughts, mostly with irony and detachment, but they also know how to dig painfully deep. With this year’s new album, *Massive Champion*, the band has cemented its status as a rising star on the British scene. Getdown Services will perform for a Prague audience on March 14, 2027. The event is part of the Heartnoize series.

“I’ve got choccy in my pocket, can I have some crisps,” ask Getdown Services in one of the cult tracks from their debut album *Crisps*. The humor characteristic of these friends from a small town near Bristol hasn’t been lost on their latest album either. The thirty tracks on *Massive Champion* are full of energy and provocative wit, forming an unconventional ode to childhood and the British cultural artifacts that shaped it. And Getdown Services are just as infectiously entertaining during their live shows.
