Big Brave are coming back for their third concert in Prague to the club Bike Jesus on May 3, 2022. Fågelle and the Obelisk of Light will also perform during the evening.
Many groups in Canada have found a liking for experiments in guitar music. The Montreal trio Big Brave, with their fourth album since 2012 called A Gaze Among Them (Southern Lord Recordings), works even more intensively with silence and loudness, distortion and purity, and primarily with authentic composing skills that go beyond the metal scene, to which the band does not subscribe.
“By playing long and repetitive passages, you can achieve meditative effects. And we use repetition, simplicity and also volume to achieve just those transcendental qualities of music.” say Big Brave in an interview with The Aardvark. With one of their idols Sunn O))) they went on a long tour, just like with Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra or Unsane, and they also performed at Roadburn and Le Guess Who ?.
